I asked AA in early 2003 and they said no comps for US elites but I suspect it might depend on the case (although the person on the phone said none at all). I would expect others to be a bit more flexible. AA was doing pretty much automatic comps for UA elites but stopped that from what I can tell early this year. They would likely in either case however set you up with one of their challenges. Let us know what happens with NW. Im debating on picking up a third carrier or sticking with AA and UA.
