hope someone can shed light on what will happend on this one.. I'm currently silver status and have booked flights heathrow to vancouver in December. I'm travelling out WTP and coming back Club. Naturally I've pre asigned seating already.

Trouble is my status will drop in October back to blue.. question I have is on baggage. On the manage my booking tab it says I get three bag allowance but doesn't make it clear that that's just the club bit - going out I'm on WTP so I'm guessing I can only take 2 bags for long haul.

The other bit here is that I've seen some media reports that ski bags might start to be charged for now - but not if you have status/flying the right class- so I could get stuffed if I take 2 normal bags and set of skis..

Anyone share some light to clear things up..

Whilst it shows silver at the moment I guess when I try to check in the limits I have will only be blue for the way out on WTP and then I'll have normal club rules on the way back..
