fivesixseven: unfortunately, this is something many of us have learned by being burned. The meals loaded from BOM / DEL definitely have at least one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian option.

However, the meals loaded from other countries (not USA)....no one knows the logic to that.

You have pointed out the details from co.com. I have called them up and asked them to explain this to me. However, as I said earlier, they just use the escape clause that some meats are only "suggested to be avoided" and not "prohibited".

And I also agree that the "vegetarian" meal is usually vegan...and is not very palatable.

Therefore, it is in your best interest to eat before you fly. Or pack a meal.

Or, fly an airline that offers specific "asian veg meals".
