How many chances do I give the Sheraton Houston Galleria before I go medieval?
My family stayed at the Sheraton Houston Galleria March 13-16.
On the 14th, we went shopping at the Galleria. All day the 15th, we attended a wedding and returned quite late, around 11:00 pm, with checkout the next morning at 7:00.
We discovered that housekeeping had thrown out (or stolen) a Galleria bag with about $150 in merchandise.
My wife immediately called the front desk and was told nothing could be done until the Housekeeping Manager came in Monday morning (the 16th). We gave phone numbers and an email address.
Of course, we heard squat.
I have now called three times with messages and twice emailed the GM with nary a peep from these clowns/thieves. Next I suppose I have to write the nasty-letter-sent-certified-with-return-receipt.
Any advice as to how postal I ought to get and how fast and whom I should address?
My wife is SPG Gold, should that matter to Starwood.
I am highly pissed and feel my first review on TripAdvisor coming.
