I was on a US flight from DCA in F and apparently the gate crew started boarding too early; the FAs were finishing up their contract mandated meal time and weren't ready for boarding. Towards the end of the boarding process the two of the FAs were in the forward galley and were complaining about it and they spoke rather harshly to the gate agent about this. .
