what do you mean by wiped out?

on my account page I have 20,000 miles on both the AS and AS/partner indicators. On Monday I will have completed a 5000mi trip on AS metal booked through AA.

I will still be 20,000 out of 40,000 miles to MVPG. For AS and Partners I will be at 25,000 out of 50,000 miles to MVPG. If I only take AS flights for the rest of the year I only have to do 20,000 more miles not 25,000.
Its more like the one partner trip didn't count at all
