I was on transit in FRA from SCL-FRA (LA) connecting to FRA-NRT (JL) and tried a couple of lounges on the new FRA terminal.
First went to JL lounge, no decent food, no wireless, no showers, very small. Then decided to try the BA lounge, very crowded and no decent food. Finally walked to the CX lounge, but had some issues to enter the lounge. I was holding my arriving LA BP on C class and Emerald and my departing BP on JL C class and also showing Emerald on it. The lady at the entrance said that I had to show the OW emerald card (which I was not carrying because I got Emerald during my DONE4 trip). I showed her Emerald on the BP and she said: "This could be another program's Emerald status". I was confused...AFAIK there is no other program with Emerald status. Finally the supervisor look at the BP and apologised.
The lounge is not great, but better than JL and BA. They have wireless LAN, showers, food (so-so, but better than JL).
If anybody knows a better lounge for OW Emerald in FRA, please report.
