Delta does not want it to look like they are giving special treatment to only one of many deserving military on board.

I have always given up seats to kids in uniform. Regardless of how many...I just pick out one and say it's your lucky day. Thanks for your service.
It's a Hell of a lot better than when my friends were spit at when returning from Viet Nam
