My wife is a teacher and mother-in-law is a principal in the public school system and several other members of my family have had employment in the teaching profession, so I respect and admire educators. With that being said, I see no problem in rewarding our military personnel with first class upgrades when they are traveling to or from overseas assignments. When teachers begin risking their lives everyday on a foreign battlefield, live apart from their families for months or years at a time and maintain the freedoms we all take for granted through their military service, then I believe the comparison would be accurate.
