I nominate the Napa Versana. The 5-mile route has two dead-end turn-arounds which are absolutely unnecessary. Also runners cross more than 100 intersections. Surely a trail exists within running distance?
That's an intersection every 50 feet on average (Yikes!). Probably easier just to run laps around the hotel parking lot (don't laugh, I've seen folks do it).
I've had very mixed results with running maps from hotels of all chains, varying from great routes to poor ones to "we don't have a map".
It seems like its very much a local thing.
