A slight correction it was an Embraer 190 doing its familiarisation flights as part of approval of operation into LCY. I believe they are also still working on Steep approach certification which is also a key part of that airport approval. The 170 is already approved I believe.

I understand they are having some issues with parking on stand. They cannot do the nose out park like RJ's so will introduce some challenges around the ramp.

The initial 170's will be low in seats compared to RJ so it wont be 1+2. Doubt BA will leave out seats on 190 they never did in the RJ unlike Swiss
