So am I, rather unexpectedly after SFO-DEN-IAD was unavailable for checkin this afternoon. Called MP and it was attributed to possible weather issues in Denver, so with the waiver I was able to get on 914 instead, saving two hours and losing no significant miles. No upgrade for me , since I'm taking my 14-year-old son on a separate PNR bought with a non-upgradeable DBC-FREE. We're seated separately at the moment, in E+ thank heavens, but I'm pretty confident someone in a middle seat will trade it for either our aisle or window.

This is another great example of UA's new proactive stance when it comes to minimizing weather impacts... allowing people to reroute at no charge even though the problem is still only a potential one.
