I just got an email from Aegean Airlines. They are having a sale for as little as 4 euros each way between Athens and the islands (35 euros once taxes are added). That's cheaper than taking the ferry.

I just checked it out on Aegena's website. It looks like the sale is only valid on Wed and Sunday departures from Athens. Too bad..We will be traveling on Thurs and Sat. Guess what !! The price of thursday early morning flight has increased from 19 to 33 euro before tax. ah ~~~ ~~ My worry has once come true again..
