The OP uses ASL so his posts often require careful reading.

That said I never understood the need for AA to fly FLL/KIN since the flew MIA/KIN ( much to the chagrin of the FLL groupies on this board) unless to compete with the very troubled Air Jamaica.

Now the Air Jamaica has abandoned the MIA/FLL route I guess AA has
decided to concentrate on MIA only.
Also surprising in the light of the Jamaica govt having agreed to pay AA $50M+ to maintain some routes if profitibility falls.
