I called at 3 days out (Gold) and was told I would be put on the waitlist. Went and looked at open first class seats, and there are still 6 available (A321). They sure are holding a lot back.

Anyone know the rules once you are on the waitlist? Is it the highest on the list, or the first to check in with a gate agent that gets the upgrade? I went ahead and printed my ticket on-line.
