If you don't receive a reply in the positive, tabTX, don't take it that we're not a friendly bunch here. (I dare say we're some of the friendliest and most positive FTers on the boards!) You've got two things working against you: one, the AS forum is a much smaller forum than the busier ones on FT, and so exposure to this question isn't as much and you may not find someone who will be around on your dates, and two, the AS forum (unlike many others) doesn't have an established tradition of guesting others into lounges.

I always thought it'd be cool to start, but there was some discussion on the idea some time back and I think many people thought it wasn't an appropriate use of the guesting privileges. (I think it would be a fun way to meet other FTers!)
