Due to irregular ops, United put me in an "airport" hotel in Denver one time which was about a 35 minute drive--seemed like we were almost to downtown though we weren't. Finally arrived after midnight. And, due to the way the shuttle timing, had to get up to catch a 5:10 am shuttle to get back to the airport in the morning.
