2 times LH didn't have my baggage in paid 1st class:

One time, upon arrival at JNB in paid first, I got a couple thousand ZAR on the spot.

One time, upon arrival at IAD, I got USD 300 on the spot.

Not sure if paid (vs. award) and/if class of service matters, and obviously YMMV.
