The picture of someone coming down an escalator does not quite 'do it', does it?
Are F pax really that lazy they can't walk up a set of stairs?
It's just a way of saying "Sorry we bussed you"
There are so many complaints about bussing, if they must do it, they should do something nice for them. That's all.
I also see a lot of older people struggling up the stairs and I feel rather sorry for them and wish that they were provided with an escalator.
I for one would feel like a right prat going up an escalator while those in lower classes watched while walking up!
That would be embarrassing. It should be done as a separate boarding - just like they usually have a separate aerobridge.
