Its FT after all. Most common sense logic is thrown out of the window. We fly not because we want to get there but because we want the full flying experience.

My partner looks at me as if I am some lunatic when I use to make us fly to AMS to start and ex-EUR trip, irrespective of price. So I have to bribe the other half for the inconvinence which means, I end up with no savings after all (but a few extra TPs).

It all went horrible wrong once and missing luggage for 3 weeks so I am not longer even allowed to suggest this; bribe or no bribe.
