Some of the Korean restaurants in the Hongqiao area are also of really high quality. The ones in central Shanghai not really enjoyable.

For Chinese food I prefer a daytrip out to Suzhou, 40 minutes by train, and the scenic views of Jinji lake from LiGongDi restaurants. Good Jiangsu, Cantonese and Sichuan style places there.
