Jet Ranger, that sounds dreadful. I cannot imagine why BA don't put in the effort to look after their premium pax.

During the final taxi-ing after landing on the EDI-LHR yesterday, the captain (or was it the FO?) actually made a point of saying, completely unbidden, "We'll be driving to the stand and loading you onto busses but it's really much better because you don't have to walk through the terminal and we're really saving you all a lot of time so we hope you appreciate what we're doing for you," or something very similar. It seemed to me that he was being a trifle defensive.
