True but the Plat5 from Travelpro achieves the same thing, albeit with more weight. Still, it has the benefit of being able to stack a bag stably, which is what is required in most cases. It also allows you to carry TWO extra bags. One on the hook and one stacked. T

Kidding, but really that's 3 carry ons, to say nothing of your jacket, overcoat, and shopping bag of goodies. Does this any of this fit under your seat? And how long does it take to unload the separate bags and get them in the overhead then hoist the Travelpro up while pushing my stuff out of the way?
