True but the Plat5 from Travelpro achieves the same thing, albeit with more weight. Still, it has the benefit of being able to stack a bag stably, which is what is required in most cases. It also allows you to carry TWO extra bags. One on the hook and one stacked. The monopole is really only an option if you are sure not to need/have another bag. Are these bags delivered with hook/straps at all?
