Oh man - I really messed up and need some advice. So I used 120K UA miles to book 1st class tickets for this trip on US:

SFO -> PHL
PHL -> BGI (Barbados)

BUT I forgot to confirm yesterday and when I called today there were no 1st class from PHL->BGI - so I'm stuck with 1st class on the SFO-PHL portion only. This feels like a total rip-off of miles now. And I was told the only way to get the 1st class ticket on US is to keep calling UAL everday! Oh man!
This stinks. Anyone got any advice on a better plan? I'm thinking of wasting 70K miles for the PHL-BGI portion on US and buy the SFO-PHL portion on UA... the worst part is once we get to BGI I gotta take a puddle-jumper to St. Vincent - I hate those little planes... (can't complain too much though....) Any input is appreciated! Thanks!
