How do you compare C class between UA and CA? I have to come back from Xiamen and the only airline that connects starting in the afternoon is CA. To catch UA from either PEK, PVG, or HKG, I will have to overnight in the respective cities. I cannot get to PEK in time for the PEK-ORD, which departs later than PEK-SFO.

I have heard not such nice things about CA metal. Any advice? Thanks.
