Are you sure your Visa accepts advance payment? AFAIK, most cards dont allow that, unless you mail a check with a statement payment stub to a lockbox and also pay online at the same time.
As another poster points out, using cards other than Citi's, is a gamble.
Besides, this is just way too many hoops to jump thru - too many steps in a long chain of events, any one breaks, you are SOL.
