I remember having this problem before and swearing off rolling bags entirely (because they are more hassle, to me, than they're worth in extra weight). You put a shoulder bag on the bag, with a strap in hopes it will stay put, and it swings out under the arm. Hooray.
Is there a contraption that's reliable/cheap/lightweight that could say stabilize a shoulder bag? Am I the only person who's encountered this?
Thanks.
Let's say, you are not the only person who didn't think about that problem beforehand...
I can't think of anything that would be practical to fix the additional bag in a stable way. What you need to do with these one post rollers is to use the bag strap that often comes with them. This allows you to hand the additional bag from the handle of your roller instead of "impaling" it over the telescopic post. It's stable and works for any bag with a grip/handle, that is even those that do not have the loop to put them over the post.
I see particularly a lot of women with the "one post" rollers. It would be fun to come up with a bunch of theories on why that is but I leave that to everyone's imagination.
