Seems like more and more of my calls to the CP desk are rolling over to the regular line. If they don't answer with "how may I help you Mr. L4PI, I ask if they are on the CP desk. If not, I politely say I will call again later and hang up.

This may be what happened to you. Once your are off the desk, it is a differnt world.
