A friend and I are booked into F on LH to DXB in 3 weeks time. Another friend has joined the trip last minute, but is booked into J as there are no F awards available. The seatmap is showing that the F cabin is empty except for my booking, and hence I was waiting to see whether an F award opened up nearer the date. As this may not happen, I'm contemplating changing my booking so that we're all together in J.

Although the FCL is a factor, our connection from LHR is only 2hrs and hence only really 1hr lounge time. So missing the FCL is not a massive factor.

Do you think that, for the short day flight, J is perfectly good enough, or is F king and you wouldn’t move downstairs for anything?!
