A few questions [Household Accounts and VFM using miles to/from North America]
I have read through the relevant sections of the ultimate guide, but haven't found the answers!

With household accounts, when your child reaches 18 yrs, does he take his miles from the HA, or does he have to start afresh? Persumably if he takes them, then the HA balance will reduce? Is it only worth having a HA if some members of the household are under 18.

Re award miles, I note that any North American destination is the same mileage, so presumably better vfm is had by flying to the West Coast from the UK? If I want to fly to Miami from LHR, then on to Barbados and back to LHR, would this be 100,000 miles in CW?
