Gate 24 is most definately a permanent fixture at T3. The original bussing gates were Gates 54/55/56 (not sure on the specifics, they were 50 somethings!) located where the new flight connections transfer area is.

Gate 24 used to be a jetbridge and it was developed into a bussing area in around 2005/2006. I have not been there for about two years but it looked smart and an improvement compared to the rest of the gates at T3. It had natural light and airy feel to it.

T3 is weird, some gates look fantastic (the A380 pier, gates 1-7) and the extension where gates 39-45) are located. The rest are old and shabby and the carpet is seriously old!

personally Scandinavian airlines should be booted off to bussing gates. They have the smallest planes that arrive at T3 (MD80s) and B737-600s. We call them a waste of a gate!
