I'll be arriving in NRT on UA at about 2:30 p.m. from SFO. My friends will arrive there at about 3:30 p.m. on the UA flight from SEA. We're all continuing on to BKK on the UA flight that leaves at about 6 p.m. en route to a group vacation. They don't know yet that we'll be on that same flight or that I'm transiting through NRT that day.

So...I've been through NRT many times, but can't recall if there's a single place to meet (and surprise) them after they get off their flight and go through security. Is there only one, obvious place they can exit into the transit/departure area? Or does it depend on the gate at which they arrive or other factors?

Also, is there any particularly good place for us to hang out and kill an hour or two before the onward flight? They'll be flying Y and are not RCC members. (I'm flying C.) So, as I learned from responses (thanks!) to my previous post about RCC access in NRT, I can't take them in there.
