I agree with both SC flier and sophiegirl that it is a lot of driving to make it a relaxing trip. For Spring, I would recommend GA and SC for the bloom. Dogwood is wonderful right now. For Fall, head north to Ashville and make some stops along the way.

St Patrick's day is hugh here in SAV - our mini Mardi Gras. If you end up coming to SAV, I can recommend some good restaurants. Oh, us savannahians can take open containers out of the bar
