If this is a UA ticket on SAS metal wont the OP get miles based on UAs rules?
No and no. There is no EQM bonus for any fare classes, and only a 25% RDM for paid business class. On United S is one of the low fare classes so it will translated into a 25% earning booking code on SAS for sure (note that S on SAS is a premium economy fare class that earns 100%, but this is irrelevant for the OP, as "S" class on its United ticket will translate as something like "L" or "T" on the SAS leg).

For Mileage Plus, and generally speaking for all *A programs, it is the metal that counts for mileage accrual principles, not the codeshare (on OW it is the opposite).
