Fully agree, "Fast track" is NOT fast track, period. BA, via BAA should at least make a noteable improvement in this department at T5, itīs been unacceptable long enough, and is still upsetting many regular customers.
Of course, security is top priority, but "Fast track" MUST be improved for eligible users. Friday just gone there was ONE channel only, with at least 30 people queing, wondering whether to jump to an "ordinary" queue. I did notice however that a slight change had been made, looked like transfer pax no longer joined this security point.
I totally agree, this is a massive joke. I had even worse transit on Sunday night. I have never seen more than 1 Fast Track open and 9-10 regular. What's the point? It is faster to go through one of the regular tracks. Why cant be at least 2 and if needed 3 open? Not mentioning the thing if you transfer and you come up with the escalator and the whole crowd is stucked at the Southern end of the security section... I am sure it would be no big deal to improve it.
