Does T3 flights operate through remote stands?

Being based in T3 for work,

Ive noticed the new airlines that have moved in the last few months. Finnair, Iberia and Clickair seem to get Jetbridges on a regular basis but I have yet to see a BA 757 attached to a Jetbridge while walking around the terminal.

a few days ago i was taking the T1 to T3 airside transit bus which goes past the domestic pier where EI and BD hang about and at the end of the pier i saw three BA 757s on what are T1 remote stands, two were being boarded with stairs and one was being deboarded again with stairs.

Whats wrong with BA, i would have thought that being BAAs biggest customer, they could have negotiated regular Jetbridge access at T3. I consider this p!ss poor service knowing the type of weather we get in the UK.

Any insiders know the reasons for this, is it a operation reason with equipment still lurking in the old T1 areas?
