NW is not really an option unless you give them an address in the US.
If you are flying in C you will collect quite a few points on KL. The give 100% mile* status bonus.
Total you will have will almost be enough for silver status if you fly once more.
AF is about to become part of the KL/NW/CO thing aletr this year.
