I thought the intra-Asia flights allowed space available upgrades on Northwest? So this would be just a normal process. I could be wrong though.

Edit: I just looked at Northwest's website and saw no mention of that, so I'm not sure where I saw/heard that.

Edit again: I think I was thinking about the Continental Micronesia flights.
