Congrads!

I am wondering if this has to do with NWA's phantom upgrade program I was reading about a while back... basically if space was avail in WBC, select plats (up to 5 or so) would get an upgrade from Y... based on fare basis first. Some NW Golds also reported getting this upgrade (since I think there was a lack of NW Plats on the flight) and theoretically depending on how this phantom program was integrated, may even allow an AS elite member an upgrade, as per the OP... I think however this was a 'last hurrah' for NW elite members- a parting thank you gift for staying loyal to the Red Tails for so long... before being gobbled by DL...
