* I am aware of a MPC SL travelling with a passenger with no status, and both get op-upped. So you do not even need to be GO.
* I got op-upped with my travel companion (no status). We were on different records. We just showed up together at the airport. CX already identified me for op-up at check-in, but they also op-upped my companion. So it is not required to be on the same record locator.
