Following up...

I got a call from Barclays today. I was told that the companion cert will arrive within two weeks and that the expiration date will be adjusted accordingly (I was supposed to receive the cert in January).

Amazing. Five different people at Barclays very firmly told me that there was no way to have the expiration date adjusted. I never took "no" for an answer.
