USAirways.com and paper tickets
Last week, I finally decided try USAirways.com and attempted to buy a YYZ-RIC RT ticket. Much to my dismay, the website told me that only paper tickets were available. Since I'm travelling in less than a week, I figured there wasn't time for delivery prior to my flight....so I went to a different online travel site, and bought the same itin on an e-ticket for the exact same price, plus a $15 CAD service fee. The service fee doesn't really bother me, but I wanted the 3000 bonus points for first-time online booking on the website. Is this any way to run a business? Pushing paying customers away from your website after they've already selected their flight times and taken out their credit card?!? If I complain, what are the odds I'll get the 3000 bonus miles posted to my account?
