I have sat several times with my GF in 1A and 1K and once in 3C and 3H. I prefer these seats over row 3 and 4 for various reasons.

1) More private and quiet. Lots of traffic in row 3 and 4. FA's can be talking or galley lights on, going to the restroom etc.

2) I think it feels like more space than 3 and 4.

3) Sitting real close to the window people in these rows as well.

4) People getting their bags out of the overhead bin are "leaning over you" and you run the chance or either having bag land on you or a body.
