It doesn't seem to me that "getting out" traffic was ever an issue from Shea or possibly from what will soon be Citi. (At least once you exited the parking lots which, at times, could take an eternity if the game went into the bottom of the 9th and was close.) There are so many options with the Grand Central in two directions, the Whitestone, the BQE, the Van Wyck, Northern Blvd, etc. that if you're passing by I don't see it as an issue. Especially at 9:15pm.
