Hit the nail on the head pandaperth... that's exactly what I'm wondering... so what I've done- cancelled my PNR with the RTW desk. Will book again in a couple of days... let's see if it makes any difference... To be honest, this is now an exercise in discovery I've already assumed I will use the online booking tool and make the reservation thru CX and pay the fuel fines... as others have pointed out it's not that much... but it's the principle of the thing - if I can, I'd like to avoid paying those fuel fines where I can.
