I strongly recommend Mauritius. February weather is generall fine, it may rain for about 20 mins in the middle of the day, but this is quite nice as it clears the humidity: generally sunny with blue skies and temperatures between 28 and 31.

I have to agree with one of the earliest posts, Mauritius may technically be an LEDC but the average standard of living there is much higher than that of Oman and probably closer to an NIC like Malaysia. There is also a wonderful degree of tolerance and integration, showing how multicultaralism can work if it's done right.

To the OP, its not an IC, but I would urge you to look at the Maritim. Its currently shut for refurb, but will be open by Feb. Position on NW coast has best weather on island, brilliant staff, beautiful location. Luxurious before refurb, can't wait to see what it's like now! Feel free to PM me for any further tips!
