Although the BLT Market is looking nice and fresh and the food is quite good there, I thought the R-C Central Park itself was looking tired. I also thought that the Mandarin was looking very tired indeed - scuffed furniture, marks on the walls. They lost the Exec Chef at Asiate and the Sous has been promoted. Food was OK, but very ordinary for the price.

I think that there are much better hotel options in NYC these days.
