I clicked the icon on her phone and it brought me to the new delta mobile website. So, I know that it can be done. The question is "how?"
To make the "APP" (which is really just an icon), use safari and navigate to
http://mobile.delta.com. When loaded, press the plus sign on the bottom of the screen. Select "Add to Home Screen". Relabel the icon if you would like, then press "ADD" in the top right of the screen. THis will put the ICON on your pages and it will look like an APP. This works with any web page you can navigate too, so you can link to many things.
YOu can move the icons around on the page by pressing and holding an icon, then moving it. Press the circle button on the bottom of the IPOD/IPHONE when done.
