Actually, it is a pretty easy thing to do. Go to safari and type in "www.delta.com. When it comes up as the mobile application, hit the "plus sign" at the bottom of the screen. One of the options that will pop up says " Add to home page". Click that and "BINGO!"
I just added it on my ITouch and never knew about this function for ANY web page until I read this thread, so thanks for asking!
